ABSTRACT

At fourteen I hadn’t developed like other boys and was often teased for having very small testicles. They often stayed up inside of me. It was an awkward time for me as I was very tall and slender. I was a self-conscious, sensitive, and emotional kid. My mother, concerned about my lack of development, took me to the family doctor for an examination. Without any tests, he assured her that I would grow up “normal” and be able to have children.
