ABSTRACT

Legal research is frequently used in higher education. It can form a background for analysts of policy, be the subject of a journal article designed to inform administrators about an issue, or be the beginning of fact-finding for an administration preparing to develop campus rules and regulations. This chapter is designed as a “how to” guide to legal research for higher education professionals and students.
