ABSTRACT
Teachers often focus on students, and parents often focus on teachers. Most often, consultees do not focus on themselves.
Consultants understand how to develop a collaborative relationship with the consultee. Cooperation and a commitment toward changing the system are part of the relationship. Working within the system, the consultant creates change with the consultees. This changes the system, with the cooperation of the consultee.
