ABSTRACT
In this book a number of important themes have emerged out of the research, literature and other sources. These themes relate to the meaning and implications of caesarean for the major participants in the childbearing scenario. By this, I mean the woman, her baby and those who attend her. In this conclusion I draw together these crucial themes and scrutinise their significance.
