ABSTRACT
When you think about ‘lesson planning’ it appears to be easy – decide what you are going to teach, write it down, list the resources you will need, make sure it will fit into the time slot – done! However, effective lesson planning requires a little more thought. In fact, I would go further and suggest that lesson planning is a complex and creative activity, but one that is crucial to effective teaching and pupil learning.
