ABSTRACT
This brief final chapter presents a résumé of the key arguments in the study. It also revisits the neopopulism that characterises the advocacy of ecotourism, in order to situate the conclusions in this wider outlook on development. Finally the chapter offers some suggestions for a prospective research agenda that could develop from the critique offered in this study.
