ABSTRACT
The LAs responsible for the execution of this Act and, unless otherwise stated, for the enforcement of regulations made under it are:
(a) district councils, metropolitan and unitary authorities; (b) London borough councils; (c) the Common Council of the City of London; (d) the Sub-Treasurer of the Inner Temple and the Under-Treasurer of
the Middle Temple; (e) in Wales, county and county borough councils (unitary authorities)
(sect. 1).
