ABSTRACT
In Chapter 1 I introduced the concepts of language as process and language as product or system. I urged you to see it as vitally important to your work as a primary teacher to increase your own confidence and skills in the processes of language. I hope I have said enough to convince you of how important this is and that you have already started to explore some writing for children which is new to you as well as writing something of your own!
