ABSTRACT
Mrs Mauve has a nasty sort of influenza. Her doctor advises her that as a result of
the virus her baby will be born blind. The foetus is now three months old, and an
abortion is possible for Mrs Mauve. However, she decides to continue to the birth.
Mrs Brown, on the other hand, is not pregnant when she contracts the same flu
