ABSTRACT

Museums today are obviously preoccupied with how they interact with visitors and with their communities: from mission statements through to evaluation studies, the issues of relating to, interacting with, and meeting the needs of visitors and communities are paramount. The following extracts from the Annual Reports of a range of institutions illustrate just some of these concerns:
