ABSTRACT
Thus far in the book, we have discussed, examined and re-examined the basic theories and their ramifications which inform the project of ‘doing sociology’. We have seen how very dependent they are on the ‘founding fathers’, namely, Marx, Weber and Durkheim, despite all attempts-intended or unintended-to mask their basic concepts with elaborated concepts and terminology. In Part V we offer a change of register in two ways.
