Introduction

People learn in different ways. Different strategies and a variety of approaches will need to be used depending on preferred learning style. The ‘learners’ using these activities may be school pupils or children out of school, but they may also be people of any age improving their literacy, learning English for the first time or struggling with learning difficulties. Their ‘learning partner’ may be a teacher, parent, a classroom assistant or another learner.
