ABSTRACT

Chapters 5-13 in this book present accounts of different ways in which action learning is currently being deployed in leadership and organization development in public service organizations. They provide a rich collection of examples of action learning applied to a range of themes that draw from across different public services. The collection is particularly unique in focusing on developing organizational capacity and on the wider public service system, as well as on individual development, with examples from both intra-and inter-agency contexts.
