ABSTRACT
This long journey has allowed us to discover how the Chinese State-owned economy has been pulling itself out of the pernicious situation inherited from the past. While the Chinese authorities implemented a long list of changes in the national general socioeconomic framework, economic reforms have proven to be an experiment that can hardly be described in a book. Within such limitations, we have done our best to illustrate such an experiment through eleven crucial industries involving eleven different firms.
