Figure 6.1 is a schematic of stakeholder involvement in learning cities and regions. It might seem to be complex at first glance but in reality it is deceptively

simple to understand. The Anglo-Saxon model of a centralised education curriculum and assessment system with some (albeit decreasing) local authority management responsibility is used. Other systems may be different, but the general thrust of contribution by stakeholders remains valid and modifiable whatever the set-up.
