ABSTRACT

Three dimensional drawings have long been used in construction. Even before Computer Aided Design (CAD) was available to the sophisticated construction manager, there were hand-drawn 3D drawings. The use of these 3D drawings was to manage risk, but not in what we today consider the complete gamete of risk management. It was much more a way if representation of mean, method technique, sequence or procedure that would better express cost savings or error elimination potential that would tie to making a job more profitable.
