ABSTRACT
This part of the book will look at your survival in your role as tutor, general dogsbody doing lunch, break duties or cover and the challenges that being in these roles as a figure of authority will present you in a very tough school. It will also examine the biggest conspiracy of all – the gap between what you are told you should be doing to be a solid successful professional and what you must actually do to survive. We shall look at how to manage the crisis of time shortage and high stress levels and whom to go to for help and support.
