ABSTRACT

How have media in Bosnia-Herzegovina contributed to insecurity in a territory ravaged by war and genocide? How have national and international actors – from both the media and political spheres – responded to the murderous insecurity of the early 1990s? What is the role of Bosnian media in the present and future security environment, especially with regard to reducing ethnonational tensions and influences? And what are the implications of a security framework for Bosnian media workers themselves?
