ABSTRACT

Why develop your teaching? As university teachers we are also learners, and the process of learning about our teaching is a never-ending story of inspiration, ideas and action. Developing our practice can mean improved effectiveness but it must mean more to us than increased efficiency. It might result in better evaluation scores but it should also mean enhanced student learning. This book is for everyone who would like to think more deeply about their teaching. More than that, it is a book for individuals who want to change their practice and to continue to develop as professionals.
