ABSTRACT
The fall of Srebrencia on 11 July 1995 was one of the worst days in UN history, but it need not have happened, at least it need not have happened as it did for the United Nations. It certainly would not have happened as it did, had the established norms of command and control of multi-national military forces been followed.
