ABSTRACT
There are two reasons for using the word ‘presenting’ rather than ‘telling’ in the title of this chapter. One is that the word covers a range of activities, including the reading of stories and dramatic presentation as well as storytelling. The second is that the word underlines the fact that a kind of performance is entailed in all of these.
