ABSTRACT
The teaching in this study was done by schoolteachers who were participating in a broader project that aimed at improving children’s speaking and listening skills in the Hillingdon Cluster of Excellence, a program run in a cluster of schools in Hillingdon (West London) and supported by the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) in the U.K. We will refer to this project as the Speaking and Listening Skills project.
