ABSTRACT
One advantage of using a chalkboard, marker-board or flip chart is that you have to prepare effective visual aids quickly at the most appropriate times during your talk. This means that: (a) each visual aid must be clear and simple; (b) you are unlikely to prepare too many; and (c) people have time to observe, think and make notes, as you draw, while you are not speaking.
