ABSTRACT
The first time you set eyes on your exam paper is when it is handed to you when you are sitting in the exam room. You might like to think about how the exam paper came to land on your desk. You might also like to think about what happens to your answers when you finally hand in your exam booklet when the invigilator calls time. In this section we try to give you some insight into both the process of setting exams and the process of marking them. The more you understand the process the better you should feel equipped to handle the challenge that exams present.
