ABSTRACT

Well maybe not, but that is the name of the game that you have to play if you are going to get a half-decent grade. Of course, as we have said, this needs a good deal of pre-planning and preparation a long time before you go into the exam room. It is no good turning up and trying to think what kind of texts you are going to use to exemplify the issues raised. These need to be at your fingertips. But herein lies one of the greatest dangers to beset the unwary candidate in the MED2 exam. You go into the exam all prepared. You have read up on the theory and got your texts ready. So keen are you to get down this information that you only take passing notice of the questions on the paper. You go in and set your own agenda, answering the question that you would have liked to appear, perhaps the one you did in your mock exam, rather than the one that is actually on the paper. If you do, then lose one grade and don’t collect £200.
