ABSTRACT
This section deals primarily with employment and labor law issues affecting employees in private companies. Although many of the laws discussed here also affect employees in the public sector, other bodies of law beyond the scope of this section – such as the Constitution, civil service systems and public-sector labor relations statutes – play an even more important role in the work lives of government workers.
