ABSTRACT
This chapter describes how I think performance informed by real-time and telematic technology promotes the emergence of a new hyper-reality stage language. I am limiting my enquiry to the visual aspects of the performance experience and thus limiting the complexity of my arguments. I will, through my writing, introduce a dynamic semiotic view on performance and thus redefine or reformulate the basic phenomena related to performance and the experience of ‘the human real’.
