ABSTRACT

Throughout the book we have illustrated our argument with examples of children’s work. In this final chapter we will carry on this process and focus on two further, important issues. These are, first, how can a knowledge of the research process we have described and illustrated be used to support less able children in undertaking research tasks? And second, how can the process be used to support a term’s work in a Key Stage 2 classroom? Our application of the process in both these contexts will also allow us to make some important points by way of summarising our work.
