ABSTRACT
Abstract Techniques involved in building activities are related either to industrial processes -e.g. prefabrication-to onsite production or to building maintenance. Problems of robotization differs according to their application in the factory or at the site. Development of robots in factories can be executed in the framework of industrial robotics and factory automation. Some prototypes of on-site robots have been tested different construction works, and the successful types are already marketed. The building site of the future will look very different from now, uti1izing advanced robotic technology to decrease high accident rate and to humanize working place and increase quality and productivity of construction.
