ABSTRACT
Under the supervision of the Ministry of Building and Urban Development, it represents the R and D technical design and engineering organization of the silicate sector of the Hungarian building materials industry. Main fields of work • Research and development of the building materials industry: Re-
search and qualification of raw materials, preparation of forecasts, utilization of wastes; Research activity directed to the production of new building materials, special cements and special ceramics, introduction of production on a laboratory level and in pilot plants; Performance of research and measurements related to heat power engineering, energetics, air-and dust-technique, as well as isotopes; Performance of up-to-date tests relating to chemistry, microscopy and microstructure.
