ABSTRACT
BHRC is the research branch of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development. The Centre is run by the Director and a High Council consisting of 7 Ministers of the Iranian Cabinet. It includes 2 Research Departments, an Administration Department and an Information and Documentation Department. Main fields of work BHRC intends to co-ordinate, perform and implement research programmes concerning building, housing, materials, construction technology and methods and building regulations, as well as to provide an advisory service to both public and private sectors in procurement and industrialization of housing and building products suitable for local conditions.
