ABSTRACT

A private institution which consists of Regular Members (individuals and corporations), Junior Members (students) and Patron Members (Corporations). Total membership in November 1983 was 31 095. Main fields of work This is the main scientific organization devoted to the advancement and development of the science, technique and art of architecture through mutual co-operation among its members. Members from public and private universities, research institutions, as well as such fields as designing, construction, production and governmental administration, co-operate with and inform each other at the Institute as individuals through investigation, research and such activities as dissemination of their findings.
