ABSTRACT
Presentations are a fundamental means of communication between professionals and between professionals and lay people. We live in a world where communication, whether by print, vision or speech, has powerful influences on attitudes and behaviour. As a research student, you will be called upon increasingly to explain and justify your work to colleagues and others. This means that you will need to develop the skills necessary to deliver effective presentations.
