ABSTRACT
In reinforced concrete structures, cracking is almost inevitable. This is because concrete has a low tensile strain capacity compared to the usual working strains in the steel reinforcement. However, crack control in reinforced concrete structures is of concern due to three main reasons: appearance, leakage and durability.
