ABSTRACT
Given both the position of the International Baccalaureate (IB) in the educational marketplace, and the structure of the IB Diploma programme, the issue of ‘Comparability of standards’ is of major importance to the organization. In the main, the IB uses similar approaches to tackle this problem as are used elsewhere in the world.
