ABSTRACT
I should like to focus on what appears to me as a crucial watershed in Joan Robinson's work; one that seems likely to have contributed not unsubstantiallyÐ albeit indirectlyÐt o the theoretical restoration of the present time. I refer to the development of her ideas on the subject of interestÐthe subject at the very centre of Keynes' `long struggle ' to escape from tra ditional ways of thinking.
