ABSTRACT
The two authors (DA and CD) set out to compare and contrast schema-focused cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) (Young, 1994; Beck and Freeman, 1990) with cognitive analytic therapy (CAT) (Ryle 1990, 1995, 1997). In order to do so they chose alternately to present and comment on a case treated by DA.
