Three Clowns Leader of Chorus On a podium which corresponds in its dimensions to the number of participants, THE LEARNED CHORUS stands in the background. The orchestra is located on the left; in the left foreground is a table at which are seated the conductor of the singers and musicians, THE CHORUS LEADER, and THE SPEAKER. The singers of THE FOUR WHO ARE FALLEN sit at a desk in the right foreground. For purposes of elucidating the scene, the wreckage of an airplane can lie on or near the podium.
