Initiating the Re-Design Process: Creating the School Culture
The first three chapters of this book have attempted to lay a framework for school design based on key precepts, principles and elements. In addition, they have introduced societal culture as a further element warranting consideration as school design initiatives spread globally. This chapter bridges between the first three, largely conceptual, chapters and subsequent chapters each of which focuses on a particular school design element. In this chapter, attention is given to how schools can begin the re-design process.
