ABSTRACT

Is a personality for your character emerging from the feeling of your movement? For example, the gazelle may be swift, agile, even hurried with a high centre. This may in turn suggest someone who is fearful, timid, easily alarmed. A feeling of restlessness may emerge, someone almost afraid of their own shadow, or possibly a predisposition to leap before looking. The hippopotamus may be much slower and heavier with a lower centre. This in turn might suggest someone who seems rather slow on the uptake but in fact leaves no stone unturned. The lower centre may engender a feeling of physical strength, although when deliberately exaggerated this may reveal a clumsiness, a tendency to bungle situations requiring diplomacy and tact. The peacock may have a chest centre suggesting a haughtiness and arrogance, a character who gives himself airs. When deliberately exaggerated this may suggest someone who likes the sound of their own voice, who possibly fishes for compliments but rarely comes to the point or says anything helpful.
