ENVIRONMENTAL AESTHETICS AND THE DILEMMA OF AESTHETIC EDUCATION

In this chapter I consider the great expanse of our environment that stands between pristine nature and pure art by addressing a particular environmental movement and one specific argument that is given in support of this movement. The movement is the “clean up the environment” movement and the argument is what I call the “eyesore argument.”
