ABSTRACT
A fear which has for years affected many people, and which is the basis of many legends, is the fear of becoming ‘undead’. A person who is ‘undead’ lacks qualities both of the live and the dead. The combination of advancing medical technology, cruel courts and the fanaticism of the protoplasm obsessed, soi-disant ‘pro-life’ school have made the prospect of being numbered among the undead very much more of a reality than any vampire or werewolf ever has.
