In good organisations, there is strong adherence to a central core of values but…individuals have freedom to work according to their skills and expertise, without undue supervision and excessive concern for uniformity of approach…. A clear framework of support and encouragement needs to be created so that the skills and creativity of children and teachers is released for the good of all. Creating an organisation in which everyone feels a sense of belonging, a feeling of achievement and of influencing the course of events depends upon the synthesising of a clearly understood and central core of values.
