ABSTRACT
A Expressions which indicate the time at which something happens are generally placed before the verb. They have an important relationship with the verb, which in Chinese does not inflect or change its form to indicate tense (see also Unit 15). They therefore set the time context for the action of the verb. The following examples illustrate this:
wǒmen míngtiān qù sànbù We’ll go for a walk tomorrow.
