ABSTRACT

You have read throughout the book multiple ways to measure climate in schools. This final chapter will explore three additional climate measures that have proven to be very useful in responding to student concerns as pupils make the transitions from one level of schooling to the next and the impact ambient noise has on behavior and learning. Additionally, as the concluding chapter of School Climate: Measuring, Improving and Sustaining Healthy Learning Environments, a “Next Steps” will be presented to assist in establishing a framework for implementing the ideas and instruments presented in the book.
