The above declaration was one of nine put forward by a unique international group of scientists, doctors, health administrators and politicians who met to suggest measures to prevent disablement throughout the world. The politics of the disabled world or the world of disabled politics is a complex one. There is no aspect of the human condition or experience that does not have a disability dimension.
