ABSTRACT
This chapter explores how competition law agencies can make enforcement activities more effective and efficient when two or more countries are involved. Some benefits may be available through greater cooperation within the framework of existing legal rules and institutions, while others will depend upon the development of common standards. The term ‘harmonization’ is used here to refer to both cooperation and convergence.
