Friends and Foes

The two most influential critics of the Würzburg work were Wundt and Müller. I shall deal with their criticism at greater length. To understand their lines of attack, it is necessary to have at least a rough understanding of some of the central ideas of their own psychological ‘systems’. I shall therefore introduce some of these central ideas here.
