ABSTRACT
‘Any revolution’ is indicated by the sign of Ex. 317a. This allows total freedom of choice as to both type and direction of revolution. If a pivot turn is desired the sign of Ex. 317b states that choice of turning clockwise or anti-clockwise is left open. This sign can also be drawn as in 317c.
