Real-World Sounds and Simulacra in my Computer Music

Much of my music makes use of computer sound synthesis. Synthesis creates a “virtual” world of sound-a purely sonic world, without a visible physical counterpart. Apparently one can hardly speak in this case of the poetry of reality.
